A few weeks ago, we worked with something that we’re not very used to these days…COLOR!!! Lots and lots of COLOR! Right now, the color trend in weddings is very soft and muted. We often get asked to do blush, white, and/or ivory blooms, with a ton of greenery. Don’t get me wrong, I like a soft color pallet for a wedding. But when I sat down with this super sweet couple to talk about their wedding, the brides eyes lit up while we looked at her colors and ideas for flowers. Due to her Latin heritage, it was clear she wasn’t a “Blush and Bashful” bride, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to work with all the gorgeous blooms!
Fast-forward to the day of Rosa + Brandon’s Wedding:
As my team and I started unloading the vehicles with our floral arrangements choked FULL of color, close behind came the Margarita guy delivering a frozen Margarita machine (Yum!) Just a few minutes into set-up, and we started to notice the amazing aromas coming from the Venue’s kitchen. The bride’s family was doing the food: Traditional Mexican Cuisine! To complete the theme were a Mariachi Band, a beautifully extravagant 11-piece wedding cake, and of course, the Margaritas y Cerveza station (Margaritas and Beer!).
Check out the photos. These colors did not disappoint, and the bride and family raved about how much they loved it all. Oh, and how stunning is the bride, Rosa? Brandon, you’re a lucky man! These two were so sweet, and I celebrate with them on their beautiful wedding and marriage!
