A Fall Wedding with Gorgeous Boho Flowers and Stunning Vintage Details

I just love every single detail of this Fall wedding we recently did at the Turnbull Building in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. From the boho flowers to the vintage details and warm tones, the Turnbull was the perfect setting! This industrial style wedding venue has been a long time favorite of ours for so many reasons. The restored historic building features an abundance of natural light, hardwood floors, exposed brick and original wood beams.

Boho Flowers with warm tones and dried accents

The bride Moriah put so much trust in us to create her boho dream wedding within her budget. The bridal bouquet was a show-stopping mix of toffee and sand roses, terra-cotta lisianthus, and dried bleached foliage like ruscus and lunaria. We even added hints of dried fall foliage that we used in the ceremony installation into her bouquet. We love how stunning the bride looked in front of the umber-colored paper backdrop in her satin off-white dress and bouquet full of warm-tones. Moriah’s bridesmaids all wore vintage floor-length dresses in a range of coordinating mustard, umber, champaign and ivory colors. My favorite are the velvet ones!

The ceremony floral installation was a mix of pampas grass, copper beech, dried fall foliage, and magnolia greenery. It’s always exciting watching installations like this come together and take shape. This installation had a mixture of mechanics underneath to give it an organic shape (green floral foam, chicken wire, rebar for stability, zip ties, etc). So, when we first got started, it looked like a hot mess, haha. But we had a vision and a plan on how to execute it! We filled it in with greenery first to disguise the ugly materials underneath. Then we start filling in the height with stems of Pampas Grass and Foliage. I just LOVE how it looked in front of the backdrop, which was just a roll of umber-colored paper attached to one of the ceiling beams and rolled out to the floor. When that ceremony set-up was surrounded by all the exposed brick, wooden beams, and old architectural details of the venue, it created a dreamy wedding esthetic… a little bit boho, a little bit vintage, and lots of fall inspired warm-tones.

We finished off the floral detailing with bud vase centerpieces created by our amazing floral designer, McCaull. She styled these with some gold candlesticks and mustard cheesecloth fabric, which resulted in a beautifully eclectic look.

Every single detail of this wedding was captured PERFECTLY by Jaime at Our Ampersand Photography. We have worked with her several times, and just adore her energy and artistic eye.
