Planning their Downtown Chattanooga Wedding

Planning a wedding in 2020 was no easy task. When Emily contacted us about her big day, Covid-19 shut downs were in full swing. She shared with me that they had booked the Waterhouse Pavillion in downtown Chattanooga, for it’s open-air and Covid-safe features. She explained that her and her fiance Jaren had decided that they would move forward with planning their wedding whether it included 100+ people or 10. They just knew that on September 12th, they were getting married no matter what!

When I first met with Emily over Zoom to discuss her eucalyptus wedding flowers, they had booked most of their other vendors, and a florist was one of the last details to finalize. Emily had already planned on the gold circle arch for the ceremony, and we loved doing a mixture of eucalyptus greenery and pampas grass on it.

One of my favorite things about Emily’s wedding flowers were all the different textures. With the blooms being all white, it kept the color-pallet simple to allow for all the textural details from the seeded eucalyptus, sedum, succulents, and bleached fern leaf.

We also loved getting to use some of our favorite gold decor rentals, like our extremely popular gold lanterns, and our tall gold stands. The day came together simply and beautifully. It was such a privilege to work on Emily and Jaren’s big day with some other fabulous area wedding vendors!
